I "BC" (big chopped) on March 12, 2010. Today is my one month anniversary of being natural. I am amazed at how fast my hair is growing. I am looking forward to having big, ignorant hair.
I don't know why, but having my natural hair has increased my self-esteem. I feel like I have nothing to hide, this is all of me, purely. People ask me a lot of questions about my hair when I'm out. And of course when I see another natural sister, I MUST show her love.
I am currently seeking out protective styles, so if you know any for a TWA, please share.
