Half Of A Yellow Sun

As a child I loved to read. My parents would poke their head into my room during the wee hours of the night, only to find me buried in a a great book. Books take me away and I love it. Well, as you grow older and have to fulfill the duty of school, work, etc., you lose time to do the things that you love the most. I'm sorry, but I refuse to stop reading. I will make time to read. I'm a writer and everyone knows that a great writer, reads.

I've been hearing a lot about Half Of A Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Instead of going to Amazon and ordering it, like I would normally do, I acknowledged my budget and went to my local library to rent it. So far I've read the first two chapters and it is......simply beautiful. I can already tell that I'm going to love this story.

I highly recommend this book. Until then, what are you guys currently reading?

  1. I love to read to...and write, although writing comes much more naturally. I didn't like to when I was little and I wish I had read more because now I absolutely loveee reading. I just finished "Sunday's at Tiffany's" by James Patterson and another author whose name I cannot remember. It's a love story build on imagination. Simply beautiful. I enjoy Fern Michaels' work too.
